Governor Agbu Kefas Addresses Taraba's Ongoing Challenges

During the 35th anniversary of Taraba State, Governor Agbu Kefas admitted that successive administrations have not fully addressed the numerous challenges facing the state since its creation on August 27, 1991. He highlighted critical issues such as inadequate infrastructure, unreliable water supply, lack of electricity, and deficiencies in education and healthcare.

Kefas noted that many communities still lack access to basic amenities, and economic challenges persist, with many young people seeking jobs and families struggling to meet basic needs. He acknowledged that some government projects may take longer than anticipated to complete but stressed the importance of identifying and addressing the reasons for delays.

Kefas, who took office in 2023, stated that his administration is focused on building good systems and institutions, with an emphasis on accountability. He encouraged residents to scrutinize government activities and assured that his administration welcomes constructive criticism based on facts.
