Pastor Launches Rehab Program for Repentant Criminals

Pastor Chibuzor Chinyere, founder of the Chibuzor Chinyere Church, has initiated a free rehabilitation program for repentant kidnappers, armed robbers, and cultists in Nigeria. Announced via the church's official Facebook page on Wednesday, the program aims to reduce crime in society.

The initiative is funded through tithes and offerings, with individuals rescued from criminal activities being disarmed and handed over to the police. Participants will undergo spiritual and physical rehabilitation, with beneficiaries receiving water baptism and official documentation from law enforcement agencies.

The program also focuses on equipping participants with practical skills to support their reintegration into society, including training in furniture making, welding, electronics, scaffolding, tailoring, ICT, and oil and gas. The initiative is designed to sustain efforts over 15 years, contributing to crime reduction and helping former criminals rebuild their lives through the grace of God.
