PSC Appoints AIG Mohammed as Commandant, Deploys CPs

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the deployment of eight Commissioners of Police to various state commands and appointed Assistant Inspector-General of Police Auwal Mohammed as the Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil, Kano. This decision was made during a meeting on Wednesday and is aimed at addressing operational needs following the promotion of former commissioners.

The newly deployed Commissioners of Police include CP Afolabi Wilfred Olutokunbo to Abia State, CP Ayodeji Faniyan to Plateau, CP Saka Ajao to Bayelsa, CP Ajo Ordue to Cross River, CP Nnanna Ama to Anambra, CP Patrick Daaor to Edo, CP Tijani Murtala to Jigawa, and CP Samuel Etaifo to Delta State. AIG Auwal Mohammed, who has over 33 years of policing experience, previously served as Commandant of the Police College in Maiduguri and holds degrees in Political Science and Public Policy.

PSC Commissioner Paul Adamu Galumje urged the newly deployed officers to uphold professionalism and the rule of law in their duties.
