PVD Commends Mutfwang's Fertilizer Initiative for Farmers

The Plateau Vanguard for Democracy (PVD) has praised Governor Caleb Mutfwang for his initiative to provide fertilizers to farmers at subsidized rates, which they describe as a significant enhancement to agricultural production and food security in Plateau State. In a statement signed by National Coordinator Chris Ishaku, PVD highlighted the initiative's role in alleviating the financial burden on farmers amid rising agricultural input costs.

The group emphasized that this intervention could lead to increased food production and improved incomes for farmers, reinforcing Plateau State's status as a key agricultural hub in Nigeria. PVD cautioned beneficiaries to use the fertilizers solely for farming and not for personal profit, stressing that the true impact of the initiative will be reflected in the harvests produced.

They encouraged farmers to cultivate larger areas and adopt better farming practices. Additionally, PVD called on government agencies and community leaders to monitor the distribution process to ensure the fertilizers reach the intended recipients.
