PZ Cussons Proposes N2.50 Dividend for 2026 AGM

PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has announced a proposed final dividend of N2.50 per ordinary share of 50 kobo each for the financial year ending 31 May 2026. This proposal has been communicated to the Nigerian Exchange Limited and is subject to withholding tax deductions and shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for 28 October 2026 in Abuja.

If approved, the dividend will be paid electronically on 30 October 2026 to shareholders listed in the Register of Members as of 9 October 2026, who have completed their e-dividend mandates. The Register of Members will be closed from 12 October 2026 to 16 October 2026 to facilitate this distribution.

Additionally, PZ Cussons is offering a scrip dividend option, allowing shareholders to receive new ordinary shares instead of cash. The reference price for the scrip allocation will be based on a 10-day volume-weighted average price starting from 12 October 2026.

Shareholders must submit their election forms by 23 October 2026. The company aims to address unclaimed dividends and navigate challenges in the FMCG sector.
