Qatar Offers 30-Day Business Visa on Arrival for Iranians

Qatar has officially announced that Iranian nationals qualify for a 30-day business visa on arrival, as detailed on the Qatar Ministry of Interior's official portal. This visa permits multiple entries and can be extended for an additional five months.

Applicants must meet several requirements, including proof of financial sufficiency with at least QR 5,000 or a valid credit card, a return ticket, a confirmed hotel booking for the visit's duration, and an invitation letter from a Qatari company. Additionally, the applicant's passport must be valid for more than six months at the time of travel.

The visa fee is set at QR 200. This arrangement highlights the diplomatic and commercial ties between Qatar and Iran, particularly in relation to their shared interests in the South Pars/North Dome gas field, the world's largest natural gas reserve.

Notably, Iran is the only country listed for this specific visa category, indicating a unique status within Qatar's visa framework.
