Gombe Governor Inaugurates Rebuilt Kantoma Market Complex

On [date not specified], Gombe State Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya inaugurated the newly rebuilt Kantoma Market Complex in Billiri Local Government Area. The complex, which features 114 shops, replaces the previous market that was destroyed in an unfortunate incident.

Governor Yahaya emphasized that the market serves as a strategic intervention to revive local commerce, restore livelihoods, and expand opportunities for small and medium-scale businesses in the area. The event was attended by top government officials, party leaders, and a large crowd showing support for the leadership. Additionally, Governor Yahaya approved the appointment of a special advisor on ethics and the reconstitution of the Gombe State House of Assembly Service Commission, aiming to enhance governance and institutional efficiency.
