Remita Encourages Students to Embrace Problem-Solving

At the 2026 Technology and Engineering Students’ Association (TESA) Conference held at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Remita Payment Services Limited (RPSL) called on technology and engineering students to prioritize problem-solving. Mujib Ishola, RPSL’s Executive Director of Technology, led a fireside chat titled ‘Beyond the Degree: How Engineers Are Redefining Success Across Industries,’ where he encouraged participants to look beyond academic qualifications.

Ishola, who also judged the conference’s innovation hackathon, stressed the importance of continuous learning and leadership, sharing his experiences in the tech industry. He noted that innovation requires bold decisions and collaboration, and described competition in Nigeria's payment ecosystem as a driver of creativity.

Ishola emphasized that trust and security are foundational to technology businesses. He encouraged students to be confident in their knowledge while remaining open to learning from others.
