Orogbu Receives AMTY Legislator of the Year Award

Prof. Obi Lilian Orogbu, a member of the House of Representatives for Awka North South Federal Constituency, was honored with the AMTY Legislator of the Year Award during its 5th edition in Anambra State. The award ceremony gathered distinguished leaders and voices from across the state to celebrate excellence in leadership and societal contributions.

Orogbu described the award as a recognition of her journey from the classroom to the National Assembly, highlighting her ongoing commitment to combining scholarship with grassroots engagement. She expressed gratitude to the organizers of the prestigious award, particularly acknowledging Rev. Prof. Adaoma Igwedibia, the chairman of the planning committee.
