Reps to audit, probe ex UBTH CMD over 2023, 2024 budgetary expenditures

The House of Representatives Committee on Health Institutions has announced plans to audit and probe the former Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) over the institution's budgetary expenditures in 2023 and 2024. The immediate past CMD, Prof Darlington Obaseki, handed over to his successor, Prof Idia Idia, on August 8, 2025.
