Retired Nigerian Air Vice Marshal Dies Mid-Air, Flight Makes Emergency Landing

Retired Nigerian Air Vice Marshal, Prof. Osita Obierika, passed away mid-air on a British Airways flight from London to Abuja, prompting an emergency landing in Barcelona.

Despite efforts by the airline crew to resuscitate him, Obierika could not be saved. The flight, carrying the terminally ill officer, diverted to Barcelona, where he was supposed to receive medical attention.
