Rivers LG polls: Ex-Speaker urges voters to keep faith with APC

Former Speaker of the Rivers State House Assembly, Rt Hon Ibani, has urged voters in Andoni Local Government Area to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming local government election. He believes that the APC will empower the council to withstand the economic challenges facing the country.

Ibani made this appeal while presenting the APC chairmanship candidate, Prince Lucky Promise Otuo, to the people of Ward 7 in Egbormung Town ahead of the August 30 poll. He expressed confidence that Otuo would provide effective grassroots governance and empower residents.

Otuo, in response, promised to reduce hardship in Andoni and bring about economic and social transformation. The candidacy of Otuo was carefully considered by party stakeholders, with Ibani describing him as a disciplined politician and leader aligned with President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda.
