Rivers Police Spokesperson Bless Agab Called to Bar

Bless Agab Karbolo, serving as the spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, was officially called to the Nigerian Bar on a Tuesday during a ceremony held at the Body of Benchers complex in Abuja. In a telephone interview, Agab expressed her delight at this significant achievement, attributing her success to divine guidance.

She hails from the Ogoni ethnic group in the Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State. Agab completed a five-year training program at the Nigeria Police Academy and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School in Enugu, where she successfully earned her Barrister-at-Law (B.L) qualification.

She later obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the Rivers State University in Port Harcourt, with her graduation scheduled for April 10, 2026. Following her induction to the Bar, Agab was appointed as the Police Public Relations Officer for the Rivers State Police Command, a position approved by Inspector General of Police Olatunji Disu upon the recommendation of State Commissioner of Police Olugbenga Adepoju.
