Man Robbed of N10m After Leaving Bank in Niger State

On March 6, 2026, a robbery incident occurred in Niger State where a man was trailed from a bank and robbed of N10 million. The victim was attacked on Shiroro Road in Minna after receiving a payment from a client.

The assailants overtook the victim's Toyota Camry, seized the money, and abandoned their own Toyota Corolla at the scene. During the attack, the victim recovered a rifle from the robbers.

Wasiu Abiodun, the spokesman for the Niger State Police Command, confirmed the incident and stated that police operations were underway to recover the abandoned vehicle and apprehend the fleeing suspects. The case has been transferred to the state criminal investigation department for further action.
