Romelu Lukaku and Brother Unable to Attend Father's Funeral Due to Repatriation Issues and Injury

Romelu Lukaku and his brother Jordan have announced that they will not be able to attend their father Roger's funeral in Kinshasa, DR Congo, as efforts to repatriate their father's body have been unsuccessful. Roger Lukaku, a former football player in Belgium and DR Congo, passed away at the age of 58.

The brothers expressed their heartbreak over not being able to attend the funeral. Additionally, Romelu Lukaku is dealing with a high-grade injury to his left thigh, requiring surgery and a recovery timeline that may keep him out of action until 2026.
