Rotary Clubs Donate Medical Equipment to Ibadan Hospital

Rotary Clubs, including Rotary Club Mend Midtown District 9112, Rotary Club Ibadan Pathfind, Rotary Club Ibadan Citi Central, and Rotary Club Ibadan Ring Road, collaborated with foundations to donate essential medical equipment to Apata General Hospital in Ibadan. This initiative is part of a joint maternal and child health intervention aimed at improving healthcare services for mothers and newborns.

The donation included delivery couches, surgical instruments, wheelchairs, mosquito nets, and window repairs for the hospital's maternity ward. Rotarian Adeniyi Adeoti represented the district governor of Rotary International District 9126, while Rotarian Olaniyi Amoo Okins described the intervention timeline.

The project aligns with Rotary International's focus on maternal and child health and aims to mobilize resources to address critical gaps identified during an assessment visit by Rotary Club members. Chief Medical Director Dr. Sakirat Lanleg commended the donors for significantly enhancing healthcare delivery at the hospital.
