Safina Buhari Commemorates Father's Legacy in Abuja

Safina Buhari commemorated the first anniversary of her father, former President Muhammadu Buhari, in Abuja, where she urged Nigerians to uphold his values. During the event, she expressed gratitude and reflected on the essence of leadership.

Safina announced the launch of a book titled "Soldier Statesman: The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari," scheduled for December 15, 2025. She revealed that proceeds from the book would be donated to Al Qalam University in Katsina to fund the construction of a computer science complex, reflecting her father's commitment to advancing education and human capital development in Nigeria.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the project is set for July 5, 2026, and upon completion, the complex will include a 200-seat auditorium, two lecture halls, three computer laboratories, and other facilities. Safina also paid tribute to her mother for fulfilling her late father's vision despite family loss and thanked attendees for their unwavering support in preserving Buhari's legacy.
