School Proprietor Ahmed Bello Arrested for Defiling Pupil

Ahmed Bello, a 40-year-old school proprietor, was arrested for allegedly defiling a 9-year-old pupil at his school. The incident reportedly took place on August 22, 2026, at approximately 12:30 am, when the victim, whose name is withheld, was returning to her class after receiving medication at the School’s First Aid Office.

The victim alleged that Bello called her into his office, where he sexually assaulted her and subsequently gave her herbal medicine, instructing her to leave. Following the report made by the victim's mother, the police took immediate action, ensuring the victim received a medical examination.

The State Commissioner of Police, Ayodeji Faniyan, stated that Bello is currently under investigation and will be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
