NYSC Corps Members Feed Over 100 Beggars in Asaba - SDG Initiative Addresses Hunger

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members in Asaba staged an outreach event to feed over 100 beggars and homeless individuals as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) initiative. The initiative, named SDG2 Food Street, aimed to address food wastage and hunger among vulnerable populations in the city.

The event was organized by the SDG Community Development Service (CDS) group, with funding from donations and contributions from corps members. The project highlighted the commitment of NYSC members to achieving the United Nations Agenda 2030 goals.

Despite challenges like lack of funding, the corps members showed resilience in executing the initiative, receiving praise for their efforts.
