SDP State Chairmen Call for BoT Constitution and Endorse National Leadership's Decisions

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) state chairmen in Nigeria are advocating for the establishment of a Board of Trustees (BoT) to improve transparency and governance within the party. The chairmen unanimously support the suspension of former national chairman Shehu Gabam and others involved in financial malpractice.

The disciplinary committee, led by Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Sadia Liman, submitted a report recommending the sanctions. The chairmen also emphasize the need to recover embezzled funds and support legal actions by relevant authorities like the EFCC.

The national leadership, including Professor Sadiq Abubakar Gomb and Dr. Olu Agunloy, has received full confidence and support from the chairmen.
