Security Firm Rescues Kidnapped Woman in Ondo State

On June 16, 2026, Morenik Falona, a 37-year-old trader residing in Irele Local Government Area, Ondo State, was abducted at approximately 10:00 PM on Orelopo Street off Ebut Road. Gallery Security Services Limited deployed a 20-man rescue team following credible intelligence and conducted an intensive search operation.

The team successfully rescued Falona unharmed at 6:30 PM on June 19, 2026, in a palm plantation in Iju Osun Community. During the operation, two suspects were apprehended, identified as Obibodefiyi Ajuesi, 36, from Ajapa Community, and another individual.

Zakari Abdullahi, a retired naval lieutenant and security manager, confirmed the arrests, which were acknowledged by the Ondo State Police Command. Chief Biboper Ajub, the CEO of Gallery Security Services, commended public cooperation in the rescue mission and urged residents to remain vigilant against criminal activities in the region.
