Senator Alli Wins Polling Unit For APC In Ibadan Bye-Election

Senator Alli of the APC won his polling unit in the Ibadan bye-election, representing the Oyo South Senatorial District. The official announcement revealed that the APC secured 49 votes while the PDP got 31 votes at Unit 022 Ward 3 in the Oke Aremo area.

Senator Alli, who also holds the traditional title of Ekaarun Balogun Ibadanland, praised the peaceful conduct of the process and commended INEC and security operatives for maintaining order. In a separate development, the APC has called for a rerun election in the Ghari Constituency of Kano State, citing widespread violence and disruption by armed thugs.

The party's National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, reported that 200 thugs were arrested by the police during the exercise.
