SERAP Demands Transparency on Altered Bills; Arewa Youth Assembly Warns of Constitutional Crisis

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has called on Bola Tinubu to disclose original bills amid allegations of alterations before passage. Arewa Youth Assembly rejected the tax law, citing discrepancies and warning of a constitutional crisis.

The Center for Human Rights and Civic Education (CHRICED) also raised concerns about the altered bills potentially subverting democracy. SERAP threatens legal action if transparency is not provided, emphasizing the need for an independent investigation.
