Liverpool's Alexander Isak Withdraws from Sweden Squad

Alexander Isak has withdrawn from the Sweden national team due to a minor thigh injury, which he sustained during a match against Romania, where he scored in Sweden's 2-1 victory. Sweden's manager, Graham Potter, stated that while the injury is not serious, Isak will not participate in the upcoming Nations League fixtures against Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Romania due to the congested match schedule.

Isak was seen with a blood-soaked sock during the match, indicating a heavy stamp, but he reported that the pain subsided quickly. Liverpool is concerned about this latest injury, especially given Isak's injury-plagued previous season, where he missed 30 matches due to various fitness issues, including a broken leg.

However, Isak has made a strong start to the current season, scoring four goals in his first five Premier League appearances, including a goal against Nottingham Forest and two against Ipswich.
