Shettima Offers Condolences to El-Rufai on Mother's Death

Kashim Shettima, the Vice President of Nigeria, visited former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai to express his condolences over the death of El-Rufai's mother, who died on March 27 in Cairo, Egypt, at the age of 96. During his visit to El-Rufai's residence in Abuja, Shettima called for unity among Nigerians, regardless of political differences.

He prayed for the soul of the late matriarch and was accompanied by notable figures, including former Bauchi State Governor Ahmad Muazu and retired General Abdurrahman Dambazau, the former Chief of Army Staff. The visit highlights the importance of solidarity in times of grief, transcending political affiliations.
