Slain Police Officer Dan Zuru Buried in Kebbi After Ambush Tragedy

ASP Danlami Usman, known as Dan Zuru, a slain police officer killed in an ambush in Benue State, was laid to rest in his hometown in Kebbi State. The 53-year-old officer, who served in the Mobile Police Unit in Makurdi, was described as a gallant officer who showed courage and loyalty until his last breath.

Family members, colleagues, and mourners paid their respects during his burial ceremony. The attack on ASP Usman was carried out by a combined force of suspected herders, bandits, and hired militia.

His burial in Jambirmi, Zuru Local Government Area, Kebbi State, highlighted the sacrifice of security operatives in the line of duty.
