Soludo Praises Retiring Anambra CP Orutugu's Service

On Wednesday, Anambra State Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo hosted the retiring former Anambra State Commissioner of Police, AIG Ikioye Orutugu, during the Anambra State Executive Council meeting. Soludo praised Orutugu for his service, highlighting his unwavering commitment, professionalism, and tactical leadership in maintaining law and order.

Orutugu was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) and officially retired on the same day. Soludo commended Orutugu's efforts in combating criminals who posed as freedom fighters and noted his collaboration with other security agencies.

Orutugu expressed gratitude to the governor, the Executive Council, and the people of Anambra State for their support, attributing his command's successes to their collective efforts. Key officials, including the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, and the Attorney General, Tochukwu Nweke, also praised Orutugu for his contributions to security in Anambra.
