NANS to Host Leadership Summit in Ibadan with Key Speakers

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), South-West Zone D, is organizing the Students Leadership Training and Advancement Summit (SLTAS ’26) in Ibadan. The event will feature Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the Oyo State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), delivering the keynote address.

Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi will serve as the chairman of the occasion, while Asefon Sunday Dayo, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Student Engagements, will be the guest speaker. Approximately 350 selected student leaders from various higher institutions and student bodies across the South-West are expected to attend, chosen for their leadership potential and commitment to student community development.

The summit aims to enhance leadership capacity and foster purposeful leadership among Nigerian students, providing a platform for intellectual engagement, strategic networking, and the exchange of ideas. Ridwan A.O.A., the Deputy Coordinator of NANS South-West Zone D, emphasized that SLTAS ’26 is a significant investment in the future of the Nigerian student movement.
