Dr. Ikpem's Book on Sports Development Launched

Dr. Ikpem's book on sports development was presented at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, attended by notable figures including Senator John Owan Enoh, the Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC) Mallam Shehu Dikko, and former Cross River State Governor Liyel Imoke. The book, which reflects on a decade of experience within Nigeria's sports ecosystem, aims to provide practical solutions for government infrastructure, funding, and athlete welfare, emphasizing sports as a vital asset for youth empowerment and national unity.

Senator Enoh highlighted the book's intellectual contributions and called for a focus on public policy to guide future administrations. Mallam Shehu Dikko praised the work and urged Dr. Ikpem to add chapters on reforms already underway in the NSC to enhance sports administration professionalism.

The event also saw commendations from various sports leaders, including Nigeria Football Federation President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau and former Super Eagles midfielder Femi Ajilore.
