Sunbeth Redeems ₦25.1bn CP, Showcases Investor Confidence

Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited, an agro-commodities sourcing and trading company, announced the successful redemption of its ₦25.1 billion Series 1 Commercial Paper (CP) on its maturity date, September 4, 2026. This redemption underscores the company's commitment to fulfilling its financial obligations to investors.

Sunbeth, recognized as one of Nigeria's leading cocoa exporters, received regulatory approval in March 2026 to establish a ₦200 billion Commercial Paper Programme aimed at expanding its agricultural export operations. The company completed Series 1, Series 2, and Series 3 issuances in March 2026, attracting total subscriptions of ₦165.73 billion, significantly exceeding its initial target of ₦100 billion.

Chief Executive Officer Olasunkanmi Owoyemi stated that the timely redemption reflects the company's financial management and business fundamentals. Chief Financial Officer Adeyemi Aduwo emphasized the importance of efficient capital deployment and strong financial controls.

Sunbeth has exported over 200,000 metric tonnes of cocoa beans and 60,000 metric tonnes of cashew nuts, collaborating with over 30,000 farmers and 250 local buying agents.
