Taraba North APC Urges Upholding of Primary Election Results

The Taraba North APC stakeholders have issued a statement urging the party leadership to respect the results of the senatorial primary elections, which saw Muhammad Bello emerge as the APC candidate for Taraba North. The stakeholders, led by coordinator Abubakar Ibrahim and secretary Bilal Galadima, expressed concern over alleged attempts by certain individuals within the party to reverse the outcome of the primaries.

They described Bello's victory as a clear reflection of the will of the party members in the district. The group emphasized the need for the party to adhere to its guidelines and warned that any attempts to alter the results would undermine public confidence in the democratic process.

They called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to uphold its monitoring report to safeguard the integrity of the electoral process and urged the Taraba State government to remain neutral to ensure no interference occurs. The stakeholders insisted that the voices of APC members in Taraba North should not be ignored.
