Taraba Speaker Advises New APC Lawmaker on Legislative Focus

Hon. Shitu Abner, the new lawmaker representing Karim Constituency in the Taraba State House of Assembly, was urged by Speaker John Kizito Bonzena to prioritize legislative duties over personal interests.

Abner, elected on August 23, 2025, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was advised to focus on the progress and development of Taraba State. Speaker Bonzena emphasized the need for unity and collaboration among colleagues to move the state forward.

Abner pledged to work for the security and skill development of constituents, regardless of party differences, aiming to attract development to the area during his tenure.
