Taraba North Leaders Slam Lawmakers for Poor Representation

Traditional rulers and the Taraba Northern Development Initiative criticized federal lawmakers representing Taraba North Senatorial District for alleged poor performance and neglect of duty. At a meeting in Lau local government council, leaders expressed disappointment in the lack of development in the region despite having multiple senators and House of Representatives members since 1999.

Chief Lau Abubakar Danbaworo challenged the lawmakers to showcase tangible achievements benefiting constituents. The community group emphasized the need for improved legislative representation to address the area's developmental challenges and ensure effective governance.
