TaxStreem Launches Platform for Nigerian Tax Compliance

TaxStreem, a Nigerian tax compliance startup, has launched a digital platform designed to simplify tax compliance for businesses in Nigeria. The platform automates tax calculations and filing processes by integrating directly with daily financial workflows.

Tax compliance remains a significant challenge for Nigerian businesses due to fragmented financial records and complex tax regulations, often resulting in time-consuming manual filing processes. The platform gathers transaction data from sources such as bank accounts, emails, and WhatsApp business invoices, ensuring organized records for future audits.

Kelechi Ib, a tax lawyer with a decade of experience in tax law and compliance advisory, leads the initiative, alongside co-founders Udo Udoma, Belo Osagie, and Sam Ayo, a senior AI and machine learning engineer. TaxStreem aims to reduce the administrative burden on businesses, improve compliance rates, and help companies better understand their tax obligations.
