Veteran Actor Taiwo Hassan Ogogo Laid to Rest in Ilaro

Taiwo Hassan, a veteran Nollywood actor popularly known as Ogogo, was laid to rest in Ilaro, Ogun State, on Monday, following Islamic rites. He passed away at the age of 66 on Sunday at approximately 3 pm.

The burial attracted family members, friends, colleagues, and sympathizers who gathered to pay their last respects. Notable attendees included his longtime friend and colleague Yinka Quadri, who was visibly emotional during the proceedings.

Other prominent figures from the Yoruba movie industry present at the funeral included Jide Kosoko, Faithia Balogun, Femi Adebayo, Mr Latin, Toyosi Adesanya, Ireti Osayemi, and Bisi Omo Logbalogba. Prior to the burial, actor Bola Oyin-Adejobi paid tribute to Ogogo, expressing hopes that he would attain Al-Jannah Firdaus.

The arrival of Ogogo's remains in Ilaro occurred on Sunday, just before the burial ceremony commenced.
