TechBridge Foundation Wins Award for Digital Inclusion

TechBridge Foundation was awarded a Presidency Award in the HERDIGITAL ACCESS category at the She’sIncluded Conference 2.0 2026, recognizing its efforts to enhance digital access and technology education for girls and women across Nigeria. The award highlights the ongoing challenge of the digital gender gap in Nigeria.

Hajiya Iklima Musa Salihu, the Founder of TechBridge Foundation, accepted the award, acknowledging her leadership in programs that prioritize girls and women in Nigeria's digital transformation. The Foundation's approach to digital inclusion encompasses not just access to devices and internet connectivity but also practical skills, mentorship, and professional networks.

Through its TechBridge Foundation for Girls and Women Initiative, the organization has implemented various programs, including the EmpowerHer Series, TechHer Thrive, and STEAM Bootcamp, reaching over 2,000 beneficiaries. These initiatives focus on digital skills, STEM education, and entrepreneurship, aiming to empower young women and girls to thrive in a technology-driven economy.
