Coco Gauff Reaches First Miami Open Semi-Final

Coco Gauff advanced to her first Miami Open semi-final after defeating Belinda Bencic with a score of 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 in a match lasting two hours and 15 minutes. At 22 years old, Gauff is a two-time Grand Slam champion and the youngest American to reach the women's singles semi-final at this tournament since Serena Williams in 2004, the year Gauff was born.

Currently ranked fourth in the world, Gauff has won four consecutive matches and, with this victory, is set to overtake former world number one Iga Swiatek, moving to third in the WTA rankings next week. Gauff admitted to battling impostor syndrome, stating that despite her accomplishments, she sometimes feels undeserving of her success.

She emphasized the importance of believing in herself and noted that her coach reminds her of her capabilities as a player.
