Terrorists Kill Driver, Abduct Three Traders in Niger

On Sunday night, terrorists blocked the road between Ibbi and New Bussa in Niger State, resulting in the death of a commercial driver named Jibrin Moham and the abduction of three traders. The incident occurred around 10 PM as six traders were returning from the Sabon Pegi weekly market.

The attackers opened fire, targeting the driver, who was killed on the spot, while three other traders sustained gunshot injuries. The assailants, suspected members of the Lakurawa group, blocked the road for several hours.

When contacted, the spokesperson for the Niger State Police Command, Wasiu Abiodun, promised to provide further details regarding the incident, although no additional information was available at the time of reporting.
