ADC Support Group Raises Concerns Over Legal Disputes

The Grassroot Mobil Network (GMN), a support group for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), voiced concerns on Saturday in Abuja about ongoing legal disputes involving the party. Spokesperson Peter Emeka alleged that the ruling party does not want anyone on the ballot and called for the judiciary to remain impartial in handling political cases.

Emeka urged judicial offices to manage political matters according to the law to strengthen public trust in the judiciary. He emphasized that the court's decisions on politically sensitive matters often attract public attention and should adhere to principles of justice and fairness.

The legal proceedings involving ADC and Nafiu Bala, who has significant interest among party members, relate to leadership disputes with several cases filed in different courts. A hearing on these matters is expected soon.
