Timi Frank Questions Authenticity of Trump's Letter to Tinubu

Timi Frank, a former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has publicly rejected claims that a letter from former US President Donald Trump endorses President Bola Tinubu’s administration. In a statement made in Abuja, Frank challenged the Presidency to publish the letter, which he described as a routine diplomatic correspondence acknowledging security cooperation between Nigeria and the United States.

He emphasized that any legitimate communication from the American President should include the official White House seal and Trump's signature. Frank stated that even if the letter exists, it should not be interpreted as political support for Tinubu or his administration.

He noted that the letter, dated July 6, only surfaced later, suggesting it was not a significant political endorsement. Frank accused the Federal Government of attempting to divert attention from ongoing discussions regarding Tinubu's alleged past drug-related issues and argued that the government’s celebration of the letter indicates a search for international legitimacy.
