Tinubu Appoints Namdas as BCDA DG, Reappoints Umeoji

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed Abdulrazak Namdas as the new Director General of the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA), effective immediately. This appointment follows the resignation of Dr.

Dakorinama Alabo, who stepped down to contest an electoral position in his home state. Namdas, a former member of the House of Representatives for the Ganye/Jada/Mayo-Belwa/Toungo Federal Constituency in Adamawa State, has a background in journalism and public relations, previously serving as the Chief Press Secretary to former Governor Boni Haruna.

Additionally, Tinubu appointed Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon as the Executive Director of Strategy and Commercial at the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), replacing Engr.

Omoregi Ogbeid Ihama, who resigned to pursue political aspirations in his home state. Chukwuma Umeoji was also reappointed as the Executive Director of Corporate Services at NDPHC after resigning to pursue political ambitions.

All appointments are aimed at reinforcing leadership in the respective agencies.
