Tinubu Appoints Namda DG of BCDA, New Directors for NDPHC

On a recent date, President Bola Tinubu appointed Abdulrazak Namda as the new Director General of the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA), replacing Dr. Dakorinama George, who resigned to contest an electoral position in his home state of Adamawa. Namda is a former member of the House of Representatives, representing Ganye, Jada, Mayo Belwa, and Toungo Federal Constituency in Adamawa State.

Additionally, Tinubu appointed Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon as the Executive Director of Strategy and Commercial for the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), replacing Omoregi Ogbeid Ihama, who also resigned to pursue political aspirations in his home state. Chukwuma Umeoji was reappointed as the Executive Director of Corporate Services at NDPHC, having previously served in the 9th National Assembly representing Aguata Federal Constituency in Anambra State.

These appointments take effect immediately.
