Tinubu Celebrates Rescue of 21 Abductees in Kogi State

President Bola Tinubu celebrated the successful rescue of 21 abductees, comprising 15 members of the National Youth Service Corps and six other Nigerians, who were kidnapped in Kogi State. The rescue operation, which took place in the forests of Ofu Local Government Area, involved a coordinated effort by the military, Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services, and local vigilantes.

Tinubu expressed his delight at the outcome, stating that the victims, made up of eight males and thirteen females, were receiving medical care before reuniting with their families. He stressed that the operation did not conclude the pursuit of the kidnappers, who remain at large, and vowed that all individuals connected to the abduction would face justice.

Tinubu reaffirmed his administration's commitment to ensuring the safety of Nigerians, allowing them to travel without fear of criminal attacks, and commended the security forces for their dedication during the operation.
