Tinubu Orders Manhunt After Kaduna Village Attack

President Bola Tinubu condemned the deadly attack on Naridon Village in Kaduna, which occurred early Monday in Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area, resulting in approximately 30 fatalities, including women and children, and the destruction of several houses. In a statement issued by Presidential Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga on Tuesday in Abuja, Tinubu described the assault as a barbaric and cowardly act of terror against defenseless citizens.

He directed the Armed Forces, police, and relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations in the affected areas to swiftly track down the perpetrators, secure the release of abducted individuals, and restore normalcy. Tinubu warned that those undermining peace in Kaduna would face justice and extended condolences to the bereaved families, Governor Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Government, and the people of the state.

He assured support from the Federal Government in confronting security challenges and urged local communities to cooperate with security forces by providing actionable intelligence.
