Tinubu's Commitment to Global Peace Highlighted by Idris

During the inauguration of a newly constructed mosque in Abuja, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, affirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's commitment to ensuring peace and tranquility not only in Nigeria but also globally. Idris welcomed Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League and chairman of the Organisation of Islamic Scholars, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport before accompanying him to the mosque inauguration.

He emphasized that the president's dedication to peace is a demonstration of his leadership path. Idris noted the ongoing international conference on national security, which coincides with the federal government's efforts to enhance Nigeria's security architecture and implement socio-economic reforms.

He reiterated the importance of peace, security, and religious harmony for Nigeria's prosperity and highlighted the nation's responsibility to contribute to peace across Africa, asserting that a secure Nigeria would positively influence the continent.
