Kaduna Governor Praises Tinubu's Impact on Northern Nigeria

Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, asserted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made significant contributions to Northern Nigeria, more than any previous leader. In an interview, Sani emphasized that Tinubu's administration has focused on infrastructure, agriculture, and healthcare projects, which he believes demonstrate a commitment to the region.

He rejected claims that support for Tinubu is diminishing in the North, stating that many people are prepared to vote for him in the 2027 elections. Sani highlighted key projects, including the Abuja-Kaduna road, which is nearing completion with N600 billion already paid to contractors.

He also mentioned the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road, which had been abandoned for 25 years but has recently received N178 billion for construction. Additionally, Sani praised federal support for agriculture and the establishment of a federal university of science and technology in Southern Kaduna.

He noted that the federal government has approved N1 trillion for a light rail project in Kaduna, reflecting its commitment to improving infrastructure and livelihoods in Northern Nigeria.
