APC PCC Urges Tinubu to Resolve Wike, Governors Dispute

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the ongoing conflict between governors elected under the party and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. The governors have expressed their refusal to support Wike's Rainbow Coalition, which includes candidates from rival parties, warning that it could negatively impact Tinubu.

Wike clarified that his support is solely for Tinubu's presidential re-election and not for the APC. During an appearance on Arise News, APC PCC spokesman Ima Niboro stated that Tinubu possesses the political experience necessary to reconcile the factions and manage the party's coalition.

Niboro emphasized that the quarrel is affecting local governance and that both factions agree on the need to re-elect the President. He expressed confidence in Tinubu's competence to handle such internal party issues, drawing parallels to past challenges faced by the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
