Tinubu Condemns Southern Kaduna Massacre as Terror Act

President Bola Tinubu condemned the overnight massacre of 30 individuals, including women and children, in Southern Kaduna, North-west Nigeria, describing it as an unprovoked act of terror against defenceless citizens. The attack occurred in Naridon Village, Kamaru Ward of Kauru Local Government Area, where victims were reportedly killed in their sleep, and several houses were burned.

Tinubu vowed to ensure that those responsible for the killings are brought to justice and emphasized his administration's commitment to confronting violent criminal networks. He directed the Armed Forces, Nigeria Police Force, and intelligence agencies to intensify operations in the affected communities to track down the perpetrators, rescue abducted victims, and restore normalcy.

The incident has raised concerns over the security situation in Southern Kaduna, which has experienced repeated mass killings and kidnappings. The attack drew widespread condemnation from civil society organizations and community leaders, who called for urgent action to protect vulnerable communities.
