Tinubu Mourns Rev. Dr. William Okoy's Passing

President Bola Tinubu expressed his condolences following the death of Rev. Dr. William Okoy, who served as the chaplain of Aso Villa during the administrations of Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan. In a statement from his special adviser, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described Okoy as a man of deep faith and principles who served the nation both at the altar and in public life.

The President acknowledged Okoy's significant contributions to the spiritual growth and welfare of the presidential precincts and noted his roles in various national institutions, including the Presidential Advisory Council on Youth Affairs and the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission. Tinubu emphasized Okoy's dedication to building a better society and praised his strong advocacy for unity and patriotism in national development.

He prayed for the eternal repose of Okoy's soul and asked God to grant comfort and strength to his family during this time of mourning.
