Tinubu Leads National Security Council Meeting in Abuja

On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu presided over a National Security Council (NSC) meeting at the State House in Abuja. The meeting gathered top military brass, including Chief of Defence Staff General Olufemi Oluyede, and heads of various security agencies, such as the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and the Defence Intelligence Department.

They took turns briefing President Tinubu on the latest security reports concerning the situation across the country. Notable attendees included National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Chief of Army Staff Major General Adeyinka Famadewa, Chief of Defence Intelligence Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, and Director General of the NIA Ambassador Moham Moham, among others.

The meeting aimed to address pressing security challenges and strategize on national security measures.
